Day/02 : Thu. Arr 02:00 hrs. Be greeted by caparisoned elephants..at
08:00 hrs. Welcome to the pink city of Jaipur. Lunch at Rambagh
Palace. Visit Jantar Mantar, the age old observatory & the City
Palace, name of the earstwhile rulers. Dep 19:30 hrs.
Day/03 : Fri. Arr at 08:15 hrs. Arr at the 12th
centyrt city of Jaisalmer dominated by its sandstone fort of 99
bastions. Visit the exquisitely carved havelis and palaces with
their latticed windows, balconies, cupolas and facades. Experienced
Camel sfaris & desert camps and Rajasthan music. Dep 23:00 hrs.
Day/04 : Sat. Arr 07:00 hrs. The mehrangarh Fort
looms large over this 15th century city. Visit this magnificent
fort and Jaswant thada, the Royal cenotaph. Lunch at Umed Bhawan
Palace, the royal residence, a part of which is now
a hotel. Dep 15:30 hrs.
Day/05 : Sun. Arr 16:00 hrs. Images of love and
valour; scars of battles lost and won...Thrice beseiged, Chittaurgarh
Fort is all this and more. Moving legends of honour and price will
echo in your mind as you procedd to Udaipur.
Day/06 : Mond. The city of lakes, palaces &
gardens, temples and forts...Udaipur. Lunch at the Lake Palace Hotel,
the former summer residence of the Princes of Mewar. Enjoy the tranquility
of Lake pochhola...Visit the city palace, the residence of yhe Maharajas
of Udaipur in all its ancient glory. Dep. from Chittaurgarh 18:30
hrs.
Day/07 : Tue. Arr 05:00 hrs. Sight seeing of Agra,
the city of Taj Mahal. Dep. 11:00 hrs (Agra).
Day/08 : Tue. Arr at 13:30 hrs. Visit fatehpur
sikri and then to the renowned Keoladeo Ghana National Park a wonderland
of birds, at Bharatpur now a world heritage site. It is home to
300 speciies of birds. Some flying in from as far as Siberia and
China. Dep. for Delhi at 23:00 hrs.
