Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II built the Raj Mahal Palace in 1729 for
his wife Maharani Chandra Kumar Ranawatiji, daughter of the Maharana
of Udaipur. Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh Ji converted this palace
